The Process

Five Clear Steps.
No Mystery.

  1. Step 01 / 05 Apply
Over-the-shoulder view of a person filling out a web form on their laptop at a sunlit kitchen table.

    Apply

A short application to start the conversation.

About ten minutes. You tell us about your background, your goals, and what part of the country you're in. There's no obligation. This is the front door, not a commitment.

    What to expect
    • About ten minutes, start to finish
    • Your background, goals, and where you live
    • No payment, no obligation, no commitment
    What you need
    • Nothing more than the form itself
    After you submit
    • A short call within roughly 48 hours if it looks like a fit
  2. Step 02 / 05 Initial Review and Conversation
A woman in her early thirties sitting on her porch step holding a phone to her ear in afternoon light, notepad open beside her.

    Initial Review and Conversation

A first call to answer your questions and check mutual fit.

We read every application. For strong-fit candidates we set up a short introductory call, partly so you can ask the things you really want to ask, partly so we can confirm this is the kind of business you actually want to run.

    What we look at
    • Hands-on owner-operator fit
    • Comfort with fieldwork and keeping in touch with realtors
    • A reasonable timeline and accessible funds
    On the call
    • Short, 20 to 30 minutes
    • You ask the questions you actually want to ask
    • We confirm this is the kind of business you'd be running
  3. Step 03 / 05 Discovery and Opportunity Details
Overhead view of two people working through a notebook and folder on a kitchen table with coffee mugs.

    Discovery and Opportunity Details

Detailed information on the model, territory, and what's involved.

Approved candidates walk through the full picture: business model, what's included in the investment, training plan, ongoing support, and territory specifics. This is also where you receive our official franchise disclosure documents.

    What you receive
    • Detailed business model and unit economics
    • What's included in the investment, line by line
    • Training plan and ongoing support commitments
    • Official franchise disclosure documents
    From your side
    • Time to read every page
    • Questions back, as many as you have
  4. Step 04 / 05 Training and Setup
An experienced trainer in a deep-teal Sign Post Guy t-shirt and ball cap guiding a new owner through installing a sign post behind a workshop.

    Training and Setup

Hands-on training covering installs, equipment, and daily operations.

You learn the work by doing the work. Installation procedures, equipment use, daily workflow, keeping in touch with your realtors. None of it is complicated — a sign post is straightforward to put in, and most owners have it down after a few tries. We get you ready to operate, and we don't leave you stranded once training ends.

    Covered in training
    • Simple, repeatable installs — no construction background needed
    • Installation and removal procedures
    • Equipment use and daily maintenance
    • Routing, scheduling, and keeping in touch with realtors
    Approach
    • On real equipment, in the field
    • Practice runs before you're turned loose
    • Operational manuals and references are yours to keep
  5. Step 05 / 05 Launch and Operate Your Business
A franchise owner in a deep-teal Sign Post Guy t-shirt and ball cap walking back to her work pickup after a fresh sign post installation on a suburban street.

    Launch and Operate Your Business

Launch in your territory and build a steady local client base.

You begin operating in your market: building realtor relationships, managing daily installs and removals, delivering reliable service. As your reputation grows, so does your client base. That's how the recurring side of this business compounds.

    Week one
    • Introduce yourself to realtors and brokerages in your territory
    • Run your first paid installs and removals
    First few months
    • Build the relationships that turn into repeat work
    • Refine your routes and your daily routine
    Over time
    • Recurring requests compound as your reputation grows
    • You stay supported, with a real person on the other end
After Step 05 / 05 The Long Tail

The relationship
doesn't end at launch.

The whole point of franchising this kind of business is so you don't have to figure out every problem alone. That doesn't stop after week one.

01
